Our roots
In 2024, Harper Macleod joined forces with Beveridge Philp & Ross - an Edinburgh-based solicitor and estate agency firm. Beveridge Philp & Ross provided a full estate agency and property buying service for domestic and commercial clients, prepared Wills, powers of attorney and trusts, while also dealing with the administration of estates and executries. It also advised landlords and tenants on residential and commercial leasing, prepared residential tenancy agreements and acted in all aspects of commercial and business law for clients.
The move saw the joint firm retain the people who have earned such a great reputation in Edinburgh while giving clients access to a much greater range of legal expertise. The joint firm brings the full weight of Harper Macleod's commercial and personal legal offering to the existing services provided to future and current clients.
